My treasures from my trip

Soooo, I’m back home again from exploring the Pyrenees in Northern Spain.  Not only did I bring back some wonderful pictures (seriously, you could just about close your eyes and point and click and take a great picture!), but I did bring back a few treasures. I found these in the Maritime museum in Madrid (which is TOTALLY cool!).  They are working instruments.   The one on the left is a Astrolabe and the one on the right is a Tidal Calculator.  Naturally, I’m planning on using them as pendants in SOMETHING. I have just too many ideas right now and too many promised assignments to complete first.

Oh check out the backs of these:

Aren’t they fabulous?

I can’t wait.
