After telling myself for almost 10 months that I would clean this office FIRST THING when I retired, I FINALLY DID IT! No more following the little trail to the computer…wide open space, a new rug, new computer..WOW!
It only took 1-1/2 days – I filled my trash and recycle bin and those of 4 of my neighbors (I chose trash day to do this!) I took 10 bags to the Goodwill, 3 boxes to Goodwill shredding services (I still had all my Dad’s paperwork in the desk drawers, over 10 years after his death).
I’ve just about moved into the new computer and sort of mastered Windows 8. Files are transferred. I kind of like having two computers back-to-back. But the old one and the old clunky desk it’s on are coming down in a couple of days and my new elegant HP Envy all in one will live on my antique secretary desk. NOW, out to the clay table – I’ve got assignments and videos to do!
